2015 was a pretty exciting year for Ensemble Musikfabrik.

Great opportunities lead us to perform MICHAELs REISE at Musikfest Berlin 2015 and Delusion of the Fury at Lincoln Center Festival in New York. Playing at renowned national and international festivals like Ultima Oslo, Biennale di Venezia and Zagreb Biennale, to name just a few, was just awesome and made us more than ever conscious of the great partners and friends we have and how awesome it is to play world premieres of great composers like Peter Eötvös, Georg Katzer, Roman Lazkano, Sven-Ingo Koch, Volker Staub, Eiko Tsukamoto, Isabel Mundry, Carola Bauckholt, Liza Lim, Nicolaus A. Huber, Helge Sten, Klaus Lang, Fabio Nieder and Marcin Stanczyk, during our concert series Musikfabrik im WDR and elsewhere. To travel with our rebuildings of the Partch instruments and present the works of our project pitch 43_tuning the cosmos at festivals in Austria, Norway, Germany and Croatia and finally in our hometown Cologne in autumn was just great.
