Kölner Chaos Orchester
The Kölner Chaos Orchester (Cologne Chaos Orchestra) was founded in spring 2025 and crowned a weekend of making music together with its first glorious final presentation.
The KCO makes music – new, improvised, composed, quiet, loud, wild, crazy.
A sound experiment beyond conventions, open to all: regardless of age, gender, origin or previous musical knowledge. Cultural boundaries dissolve – what remains is the unifying power of music.
A utopia?
Perhaps.
But the fact is: anyone can take part – with or without an instrument, whether professional or curious.
Below you will find an overview of the next two rehearsal weekends.

Saturday, 27.09.2025, 10:00 – 4:00 pm (incl. 60 minute break)

Friday, 10.10.2025, 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Saturday, 11.10.2025. 10:00 – 4:00 pm (incl. 60 minute break)
Sunday, 12.10.2025, 10:00 – 4:00 pm (incl. 60 minute break)
Presentation:
Sunday, 12.10.2025, 6:00 – 7:30 pm
We charge €60 for expenses per person for participation in both rehearsal weekends. At the beginning of September 2025 we will send you our account details by e-mail and provide you with further information.
All of the above dates will take place at the Ensemble Musikfabrik premises at Mediapark 7 in Cologne. Snacks and drinks will be provided, surrounding restaurants offer the possibility for hot meals during the lunch breaks (60 minutes or by arrangement).
