Ensemble Musikfabrik presents a unique summer workshop exploring contemporary brass playing through performance training, embouchure building, and concert curation, highlighting new ways of digital collaboration.
In addition, composition workshops, private lessons and intensive work with players presents a one-of-a-kind opportunity to expand the skill in composing for these fascinating instruments. The newly written pieces will be performed and presented online at the end of the courses. An important topic for many musicians at present is the format in which we can practice our art. In conversation with a dramaturg, we will discuss important questions about this topic and try out formats at the end of the academy.
