Akademie Muskfabrik | Lectures Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán

As part of Studio Musikfabrik‘s cooperation with the Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán in Havana and the Festival de la Habana de Música Contemporánea, several musicians and professors from the Conservatorium visit the Musikfabrik and take part in the Composer Collider Europe programme.

Rolando Artiles Díaz and Darys Quintana Jiménez will give two public lectures on 13.11 at 7 pm to give insights into Cuban compositions, musical and cultural influences as well as typical Cuban instruments and playing traditions:

7 pm “Así es nuestra cultura” by Rolando Artiles Díaz (Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán) on Cuban art and music for the 500th birthday of the city of Havana

8 pm “Rythms of Cuban Music” by Darys Quintana Jiménez (Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán) about Cuban percussion instruments and playing styles
