Helen Bledsoe, flutist of Ensemble Musikfabrik and a true Sun Ra fan, chooses Graffiti as her most favorite CD of Edition Musikfabrik. She not just selected the works by Unsuk Chin, Olga Neuwirth and Sun Ra for this CD, she also invited Dave Hotep, guitarist of the great Sun Ra Arkestra to play together with Ensemble Musikfabrik during her monday concert in February this year. The CD, which also comes with an artwork by the artist Gerhard Richter as a booklet poster, invites us to enjoy a musical connection between urbanity and intergalactic spheres.
