Chamber music workshop

This series of workshops encourages young musicians between the ages of 14 and 21, who are already experienced in playing their instrument, to discover playing techniques of contemporary music on their own instrument and new facets of making music. Within the framework of instrumental coaching soloists of Ensemble Musikfabrik lead their young colleagues to the specifics of contemporary music, so as to subsequently try it out together with the other children. Parents, siblings, and friends are cordially invited to listen to the workshop’s results in a little concert on the evening of the final workshop day.

The workshop usually takes place once a year and can also be used as preparation for a potential later membership in Studio Musikfabrik. No previous knowledge of new music notation and playing techniques is required. Please see our calendar of events for the next dates.
