Hochschule für Künste Bremen

In collaboration with the Ensemble Musikfabrik, students at the University of the Arts Bremen, under the direction of Lea Letzel (Chair of Performance and New Forms of Musical Performance) – taking as their starting point the question of the ideal listening environment for contemporary music – are developing performative, scenic and spatial concepts for selected works for two performers.
How do space, movement and light alter the listening experience? What relationship develops between the musicians and the audience?
These questions give rise to new performance scenarios for the selected works.
