Dirk Wietheger, cellist of Ensemble Musikfabrik, chooses the brand new CD of Edition Musikfabrik Scherben as his most favorite record. The recordings of Kaija Saariaho’s “Notes on Light” took place in 2010. When the CD arrived four weeks ago Dirk Wietheger listened to this piece for the first time since the recording sessions and again he had the spontaneous impression that “Notes on Light” is one very special piece of contemporary music which is worth to be one of the most favoured CDs of Edition Musikfabrik.
