When I had the wonderful opportunity to for the first time offer a work commission to someone, I had to think back to the work with her. I was curious as to what Elena would write for me, ten years after having worked together for the first time. Language is an important factor in Elena\u2019s compositional work. I love it when I can get to know other performative elements in works for solo violin for example speaking, singing, gestures etc. In 2014 I was able to give to world premiere of\u00a0<em>Die Macht der Gewohnheit<\/em>\u00a0for speaking violinist.
