For this style of play you don\u2019t need a bow, you just use your hands to pluck the strings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eThe technique was developed among others by Stefano Scodanibbio, double bass player and composer. You can find it for example in the\u00a0<em>Sequenza XIVb<\/em>\u00a0by Luciano Berio in his transcription for double bass. This is a very useful example of notation if you want to write it down\u201c, said Florentin about the technique he is presenting.
