Fichter, a well-known arts manager and former musician, returns after 14 years to the position he held from 2001 to 2004. Under his leadership Musikfabrik reached several important milestones, including establishing its residence in Cologne and installing its own concert series \u201eMusikfabrik in WDR\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, former president of the German Bundestag, Prof. Dr. Norbert Lammert, has accepted the position of Patron (\u201cSchirmherr\u201d) for the Ensemble Musikfabrik after having served on its board (\u201cKuratorium\u201d) since 2005.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eProf. Dr. Nobert Lammert\u2019s ongoing commitment to the Ensemble Musikfabrik is a great honor for us,\u201d says Ulrich L\u00f6ffler, pianist and Musikfabrik spokesperson, \u201cand Thomas Fichter is the ideal person to help us expand our leading role in the musical avantgarde.
