Do You Know How To Bark ?<\/em> is a striking gesture and in a way, a simple statement that Milica Djordjevic brought to life. The primary impulse of the piece that activates the instrument at its highest point, is a jump into the barking energy. The 6 minutes that follow will become a frantic run for the performer, swinging between the rough and the subtle melodys, until the last long gesture, sounding as a resonance of the first impulse.<\/p>\n

I met Milica for the first time in Paris in 2015 to perform this solo. Since then, the piece has evolved and travelled quite a lot, but it\u2019s always a lot of fun to bring it on stage and dive into the barking of the bass.
