In August last year, we organized a brass academy for composers locked down at home. As a result of the weeklong exchange with the composers about writing for brass, all participants wrote short bagatelles for our instruments. We were able to record some of them last winter during the second lockdown.<\/p>\n

In Yushun Pei\u2019s program notes for \u201cFor Luna\u201d he writes:<\/p>\n

– Hey Luna, what are you thinking about?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Meow~~~<\/strong><\/p>\n

We leave it up to our listeners to decide what Luna was thinking about.<\/p>\n
