Programme note<\/h3>\n

Amphiference<\/em> was written in 2019 for the vinyl album of the same name, which works with music from psychedelic rock as a strong social agent in the sense of “agential realism”. The fascination for the openness of a relatively large social group to experimental music is the occasion to visit this era and to relate it to contemporary thinking today. A particular focus is on combining ecstatic, extremely physical music with structurally comprehensible complexity. The found music is left recognizably alive in uncritical, non-destructive work and at the same time extremely and radically mixed and hybridised, so that in complicity with the performer, his and our history is retroactively changed. The instruments are thereby electronically brought into a dependency through a convolution filter, which allegorically takes up the mixing and already being mixed. The spectral intersection of both instruments sounds from the loudspeakers.<\/p>\n
