Students of brass instruments 16 and older can register.
The number of participants is limited to 20 people.
Ensemble Musikfabrik presents a week-long workshop exploring contemporary brass playing through performance training, embouchure building, and concert curation, culminating in the Alloy Event - a final concert of all participants and coaches.
BAUWERKE welcomes all brass players, individuals as well as small ensembles:
For those who are new to contemporary music this week can make you more familiar and at home in this vast and exciting world. For those who have already developed skills and experience with contemporary repertoire, this week offers a chance for exchange, practise and to showcase your work. For everyone, a great workout building up solid brass playing.
- daily calisthenics (technical training and embouchure building)
- individual coaching
- extensive work on contemporary playing techniques
- workshops on the art of performance, improvisation and healthy experiments with sound
- new chamber music for brass
- open stage for participants
- 2 concerts: BAUWERKE faculty concert and Alloy Event participants concert.

Conditions for participation
The participation fee is 280 EUR per person and includes the course fee and lunch. The fee is to be paid after confirmation of the application.
On request, piano accompaniment, percussion instruments, and electronic equipment will be provided.
Travel and accommodation:
The participants organize and carry the costs of their travel and accommodation themselves.
On request, help can be provided in finding a hostel (shared room), hotel or a host family.
The participants are responsible for the organization of their breakfast and dinner.
If the workshop is cancelled, any participant fees already paid will of course be reimbursed immediately.
