Supported by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iam.pl\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adam Mickiewick institute<\/a>\u00a0three young Polish composers,\u00a0<strong>Wojciech B\u0142a\u017cejczyk<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Szymon Stanislaw Strzelec<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Kuba Krzewinski<\/strong>, had the chance of getting to know the beautiful and delicate instruments, develop their own approach to the Harry Partch sound cosmos and to work together with the conductor\u00a0<strong>Christian Eggen<\/strong>\u00a0and us, as a professional ensemble for contemporary music.<\/p>\n<p>One result of the collective work was Kuba Krzewinskis piece\u00a0<em>Inside\u00a0<\/em>(2017).<\/p>\n<p>The composer and sound installation artist has recently been working on performances, pieces and installations focussing on the sense of touch. In his piece developed during Composer Collider he was especially interested in \u201ezooming into the point of time when two separate entities become so deeply united that they become one. The edges of bodies blur away, for an instant, they are inside one another<em>.\u201c<\/em>Combining the Harry Partch instruments with sound objects he developed himself and calls \u201cAmeublement de Musique&#8220;, he told us that the main challenge working with the Harry Partch instruments for him was \u201eto enter the unique language of the Harry Partch \u2018orchestra\u2019 and try to learn it and speak it within a short amount of time.\u201c<em>\u00a0Inside\u00a0<\/em>can be described as a cosmos uniting the instruments of Harry Partch and Krzewinskis series of objects.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/229396869\">Concert &#8211; Ameublement de musique<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/kubakrzewinski\">Kuba Krzewi\u0144ski<\/a>\u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/\">Vimeo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u201e<\/em>Through colliding my objects \/ instruments with Partch\u2019s chef-d\u2019oeuvre, hidden qualities of both may be revealed.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>His favourite Partch instrument is the Marimba Eroica: \u201cI see it as the most organic, physical instrument due to its uncanny low vibrations.
